Welcome
to Angles Yoga
A personalized yoga practice can even help you on
many levels - physical injuries, emotional distress, spiritual
"emptiness" all healing through learning the practice of mindful
movement balanced with breath. Each session may be
different depending on your needs that day - you may have more
energy and wish for an energetic practice, or feel tired and need a
restorative session. Perhaps you need to work on upper body
strength or wish to build abdominal strength. Maybe you
need to learn how to remain active after an injury.
From your first deep breath you will find that Yoga is much more
than a physical experience. Yoga is the integration of mindfulness into
every part of your life, it's the Art of Life.
Learn this ancient art with a highly experienced
teacher and practitioner; Sandra began practicing in high school (never mind
how long ago THAT was.) on her own from a book given to her by her mother
(thanks Mom). She continued her studies with Kripalu teacher Tejal Murray for
several years and took over her class at the athletic club when Tejal opened her
own studio. After the pioneering book "Power Yoga" by Beryl Bender Birch was
published, Sandra found the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga and has been practicing and
teaching from this dynamic and adaptable system ever since.
Most recently, she began studying at the Kripalu
Center School of Ayurveda, learning to teach Yoga using this ancient
method of preventive healing to empower you to easily make the
lifestyle transitions that can ward off disease and add life to your
years, no matter how many you may have under your belt.
You've got nothing to lose except stress, fatigue
and maybe a few unwanted pounds. NOW is the time.
